Ratchet and Clank All 4 One Review

On a scale of 1 to me, I give this game an 8.9 x)
_{SO : D After a week and a half ago when I finished this game I was going to write a review c:……I forgot 8'D BECUZ I GOT HIGH ON A PLANE C8 AND MOVED IN WITH MY FRIEND IN THE CITYYYY!~ *confetti* AND IVE DONE SO MUCH STUFF 8DDD ….. /collapssseeeee}

Ratchet and Clank All 4 One.Ah, I remember when I first read the announcement back in August 2010 : D I had a flu :c But when I read the fantastic news about a Ratchet and Clank co-op game that includes Qwark and Nefarious I felt a whole lot better! 8D I mean, apart from the delirious feeling and the falling over and screaming in the bathroom….

Um….

Well

You could tell I was very excited about this uber game….

And indeed I was.
It feels like only yesterday when I had that sudden feeling of despair knowing I had to wait a whole year and a half for the game to be released in mid October 2011! Worst feeling ever….but I took that feeling and turned into a box of happiness.

Like most games I'm excited for I began thinking about what it would be like : ) The humour, the graphics, the 4 player action, the throwing my friends off cliffs…and as I usually do I began drawing little doodles and spazzing more and more as Insomniac announced new features and released new screenshots and videos. C:

I wanted to buy the game before I moved to the city because I'd have to use my money for food and rent and bus fees and…karaoke 0: I didn't want to buy the game over my friend's hunger….*puts game on plate* EAT IT SISTER! >D
I remember thinking "Hmmmm APPROX $80 for a new game :I That's okay! We can last a week without food xD!"
I mean I didn't want to have to sit in the gutter holding a sign advertising "WILL DRAW 4 FOOD" because my money disappeared on Ratchet's team of flailing marauders! xD

ALAS! October 2011 was finally here!

I rang the electrical store 7 times that morning before work to ask about All 4 One (8 THEY HAD IT IN STOCK!

And put one aside just for me : D…..
So much victory was displayed that day! I could feel I had the hugest grin on my face when I walked out cradling the game in my arms :3 I COULDN'T STOP SMILIIING@!!!!

My brothers got off the bus the same time I got home so I decided to commence waving the cover in their face and cackling uncontrollably! 8D They were also so gleefull to see that I had the game in my grasp….so we did what you're supposed to do when you bring a game home….throw it in the PS3 like a ninja, grab chips and sit on a mattress and P L A Y

So….I heard the ending was Super-Fantaba-Gubba-juoopa-licious. So I played the game over 2 days; staying up till 1am to see the end 8D ITS MY RECORD> AND IM NEVER DOING IT AGAIN

Where do I start?
From the Pixar-like graphics to the well written script, this game was a mighty beast to play 8) I had so much fun making my way through each level as either Ratchet, Clank, Nefarious or Qwark. I also did a whole lot of Online play and co-op with my brothers so I indulged in pretty much all of this game's features!

I loooooove how cute Insomniac made him in A4O c: Atfirst I remember being sceptical of his looks when he appeared in the first trailer; I remember a lot of other people were bedazzled as well. But when I saw him in the gameplay I melted 8D He…looks…great

I love his costume design! And the model is just overall epic (8 His face portrayed so much emotions in the cutscenes~ I will now perform one clap for the animator

Ratchet was way fun to play as n_n I cant think of anything else to say 8D YAY FOR RATCHET! _{AND HIS VOICE WILL ALWAYS BE AMAZING I LOVE YOU JAMES ARNOLD TAYLOR YESHSHSHSHHH!}

I never thought this little guy would go back to being a ninja mothertrucker like he was in his Secret Agent Clank days xD His adorableness never ceases to make me happy : D I loved his attacks with all the chopping and kicking action…and when his body spun in circles ;D I DUNNO I JUST REALLY LOVE CLANK C: Also adored his expressions. INSOMNIAC. YOU MAKE ROBOTS FEEL ALIIIVE!

///sidenote c:
HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF CLANK???!!! He's now on steroids : D The North Carolina team gave him a growth spurt on the account of he is now a playable character, and if he was left small he would blend in to the background! THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT XD Because if I lost my glasses Clank would look like a dancing toaster…However, now Ratchet needs constant acupuncture because of Clank's obsessive urge to bounce onto his back!

And acupuncture is expensive ;_;…..

Well when it comes to BACKS Robots have right of way~!!! 8D

Nurse Shanon

You captured all our hearts!
This Politic/Actor/Nurse/Superhero was fun to play as 8D He's so beeeeg compared to the others! I do admit I usually love playing as smaller more nimble characters, but Qwark was a treat :V His lines NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME LAUGH UNCONTROLLABLY!

I want to hug him so bad! I really liked his A4O design! His head became smaller….or was it that his body became larger?....I think both :b Anywho he is definitely fun to control!

NEFARIOUS

Dr Nefarious. DR NEFARIOUS!......._{Dr Nefarious….}
I knew you would warm up to the others 8'D But really….You need professional help! Qwark and Nefarious were so fluffy in A4o 0: I couldn't believe how flufftastic it got xD But it made me smile 8D Dr Nefarious was great fun to play as! His arm blade things were a great addition to his attacks. HE IS NOW PURPLE! *yesssssss* That was a major victory 8)

Just like Qwark, Nefarious made me laugh so much (8 Not as much as Up Your Arsenal

But hoo boy, were those lines grrrrrrreat 8D I was playing as Nefarious when I noticed he could do double blackflips….

….THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER 8D Then I found out that all the characters can do that xD I was happier than pie itself ;_;

I also loved how Insomniac was able to pull off more emotions other than just the usual anger in Nefarious' face c: You need uber skills to give robots facial expressions!

However it was never mentioned why Nefarious didn't have hover boots anymore 0: ?

The Gameplay was very different to the normal Ratchet games. Well obviously xD But I really loved the 4 player experience c: There's so much negativity towards Ratchet going Co-Op, but its funny how people can't see that this will most probably be a one time thing xD I'm sure the next Ratchet game will be one player just like the rest of the series 8) It never hurts to throw in a bit of co-op and I say Insomniac did it to almost perfection. Oh sure the camera was a little weird here and there And AI Clank gets annoying when he glitches and fails to save you. But I'm cool with that!

The Concept Art and background design is way wicked (8 The colours are so vivid The levels make me so happy!~ Creaturebox did an AMAzInG job!!! I loved Susie (Scamp) 8DDDD And the other characters had awesome designs C:

The New Controls were easy to get used to! But the lock-on was a little weird xD I just attacked willy-nilly...with THE WARMONGER ~ MY FAVE WEAPON! Not to mention the new RYNOs ;D POW! BANG! BOOM! Oh and the character skins Nurse Shanon and Lava lamp Nefarious c: Yessss <3

The only thing that annoyed me a teensy bit was the interaction between the foursome in the cutscenes....there was alot of interaction between Qwark and Nefarious (NO COMPLAINT THERE 8D) and alot between Ratchet and Clank....but not all 4 of them together. There were some scenes where one character wouldn't talk at all xD Or talk alot less than the others Also the story confused a little bit the first time round c: BUt I did like it in the end 8DDDD
